Raise event on gear shift

Question

Can i somehow raise an event when vehicle is shifting up or down gears? I want to activate flame particles on gear shift.

Monitor the value GearShifting in the Vehicle channel of the Data Bus in the FixedUpdate cycle:

GearboxShifting

Is the gearbox in the middle of a gear shift operation?

0 = no, 1 = yes

When GearboxShifting goes from 0 to 1 then the gearbox has started a gear shift operation:

• Manual Transmission: current gear is disengaged to Neutral.
• Automatic Transmission: current gear is progressively shifted to next gear.

When GearboxShifting goes from 1 to 0 then the gearbox has completed the gear shift operation. The value GearboxGear contains the new gear number.
