Hi,

I am trying to understand engine friction parameters (torque, rotational, viscous) in VPP community edition and i saw your video. I am using kinda same engine like the military vehicle in the video. So my question is can you tell me what is the engine friction values(torque, rotational, viscous) did you use for that military vehicle?

Well, I'm afraid I have no real answer for that. I hadn't yet designed the Engine block when that video was recorded. The vehicle in the video uses a DirectDrive motor (like an ideal electric motor) attached to each wheel, eight motors in total. I used the average angular velocity of all wheels to simulate the engine sound.

Still, you can see how a truck engine looks like at the bottom of this section:

That's the kind of engine one could use in a vehicle like the APC. The engine friction parameters in this case are 98, 1, 0.05.
