Hi, I am using vehicle physics pro community edition for my research.

In the demo scene of VPP, 'The City' map consists of several roads and terrains.

I found that the terrain collider of 'OffroadTrack' use 'Offroad' physics material, and the mesh collider of 'Road' use 'Asphalt' physics material.

Although I thought these materials affect the friction and movement of vehicle (JPickup), the movement and friction of vehicle looks same.

Do physics materials in terrain/mesh colliders affect the friction and movement of vehicles?

Yes, but the Community Edition supports only one ground material (asphalt), so other ground materials don't have effect on the tire friction.

You may test how other materials feel in that scene by trying the compiled demo application.
